Our higher education pathways are carefully structured for learners seeking to gain recognised academic qualifications and progress into careers such as software development, business systems analysis, data science, cybersecurity, and IT project management. Programmes are available at various levels, ranging from Foundation Degrees through to Full Honours Degrees.

We provide a clearly defined and supportive progression route through higher education, which includes:

Foundation Degree in Computing

Equips you with the core principles of computing and information technology. It covers a broad spectrum of foundational topics for progression to more advanced studies.

Who Is This Course For?

Entry Requirements:

Minimum age: 16+
English proficiency (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent recommended) for international students
Completed their GCSE/IGCSE ‘O’ Levels or an equivalent* qualification in their own country and passed 5 subjects with minimum grades of ‘C’, ‘4’ or equivalent* in each. These should include Mathematics and English.
No formal qualifications required – just a passion for learning and a commitment to succeed.

Progress to the Level 4 Diploma in Computing, equivalent to the 1st year degree year

Assessment is through a mix of practical assignments, written reports, group projects, presentations, and some timed assessments. We focus on real-world application rather than just exams.
Yes, the Foundation Degree, you’ll choose optional modules that allow you to focus on a particular pathway, depending on your career goals.
Yes, we work with local employers to provide opportunities for work experience, internships, and industry-led projects. You’ll also complete a work-related learning module as part of the Foundation Degree.

For the Level 3 pathway, we usually require 4 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, ideally including English and maths. For the Foundation Degree, a Level 3 qualification in IT (such as BTEC, A Levels, or equivalent) is expected. Mature students with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
Yes, we offer both full-time and part-time routes to allow students to balance study with work or personal commitments.
