Under-Graduate Degree Pathway

Lancashire College of Further Education (LCFE) offers flexible and accessible undergraduate study options through a combination of face-to-face and online learning. In partnership with NCC Education and regulated by Ofqual, LCFE provides a clear progression route from Level 4 to a full bachelor’s degree. Your final year degree is awarded by prestigious universities such as the University of Lancashire and the University of Bolton.

Year 1: Level 4 Diplomas (Equivalent to Year 1 of a UK University Degree)

Build a solid foundation in computing or business with essential theory and practical skills for advanced study.

Prepare students for professional roles in digital and business fields or for further study, including bachelor’s degrees.

Each level usually takes one academic year (full-time). Level 4 = first year of university, Level 5 = second year of university.
A mix of exams, coursework, and practical projects depending on the module

You can progress to a final-year “top-up” degree (Level 6) at many UK and international universities.
